Termomeccanica has once again relied on OXYCOMB for the (2nd) installation of a new BLUESKY® System in an incineration furnace at one of its plants in Poland.

MSW incineration plants are designed for the thermal destruction of industrial and pathological waste using different methods. Combustion is carried out using gas/air or gas/O2 burners, as appropriate. Sometimes the combustion air is enriched with O2 in the different parts of the process to improve it, make combustion more efficient and ensure that the waste is completely destroyed.

The results in reducing polluting emissions that can be obtained using the BLUESKY® System by regulating the different parameters of the furnace taking into account the %O2 and CO present in the combustion gases are immediate.
